Bark Box

All right! I just signed up for something new and very exciting, Bark Box.

Basically, all you need to do is put your dog’s size, name, and birthday. They you decide which type of order you would like; you can buy 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months. I signed up for 3 months at $24 each box. Additionally, 10% of each box goes toward a charity or organization that helps improve the lives of animals. If you have an organization in mind you can make a suggestion on their support center page.

Each box includes 4-6 items that fall under the categories of toys, treats or hygine items. Many of their products come from American vendors. Some of their food products come from outside sources, but they try to stick to minimally processed treats. Don’t worry, as soon as I get this box, I am going to investigate the quality with my veterinary friends and post a follow-up.

What’s better, you can even send these as gifts to your furry friends and family for holidays and birthdays. If you would like to sign-up, let me know. You receive a coupon for receiving an invitation from an existing member. If you are interested in learning more about Bark Box you can check out the Bark Box Instagram page.

Today, I also got this book titled “I Could Chew on This: And Other Poems by Dogs” by Franco Marciluliano. It is so cute! You can purchase it at Modcloth.com or Amazon.com. For the next few weeks I’ll share some poems with you.

This one is called “Nothing Seems to Work”

I use my teeth

I try my paw

I whine a lot

I walk in circles

But nothing seems to work

Then, with a twist of your wrist

You turn the doorknob

And that’s when I finally realize

You’re a wizard
