I say that today with extra exclamation points because this past week felt rather long for some reason.
Any way, many of you know that I still participate in the occasional relief shift as a veterinary technician in order to keep my skills fresh, AND because it is a lot of fun!
I work at Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital, the same place where I used to work full time. Well, the hospital is turning 30 and we are throwing a party!!
That’s right! Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital was established back in 1984 and is still serving the Tri-Valley Area today.
What makes Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital special?
I always felt that our hospital was unique because it was both a small family practice where we know your name and your history, and one equipped for handling emergencies and some major surgeries.
We also have a very talented veterinarian who is skilled in acupuncture and other types of eastern medicine! In fact, she will be there at the party to answer questions!
Most importantly, there will be a Doggie Dash race for small dogs, and we need more dogs to sign up. If you would like your pet to participate, please click the link here, to complete the Doggie Dash registration by May 1st!
In addition to the Doggie Dash, there will be fun activities for kids, and agility course, the Pleasanton Police K9 unit AND a dog training demonstration. Best of all, this is completely free and can be fun for your whole family!
So if you will be in the Bay Area on Saturday May 17th, please join us to celebrate 30 years of serving our local community!!
