All I need to get through the fall/winter is a good fleece jacket. Being that I am from California, snow gear is rarely needed, unless I choose to visit the Sierras. Therefore, a great fleece to me is like a great pair of jeans; absolutely necessary for my wardrobe, but also like a unicorn (very hard to come by, or mythical).
My favorite brand of fleece jacket is Northface. I have one that is my go-to. It’s all black and has some water resistant material on the hood and the shoulders. I am currently loving this fleece from Northface as well:
Because snow gear is rarely needed where we live, but the temperatures do get a little chilly, I thought it would be a great idea for Rooney to have a fleece of his own. Rooney has thick fur, and our temperatures don’t drop too far, so I was looking for a warm, but not thick fleece. This is why I was so excited to try Gold Paw Fleece. This fleece is perfect; not too heavy and not too light. Also, due to the stretchy nature of the fleece material, it is really easy to put on Rooney, and he feels very comfortable in it.
I can always tell when I put something on Rooney, and he isn’t comfortable in it. Usually, he won’t walk or move, but will just lay down. When I put the Gold Paw Fleece on Rooney, he felt comfortable enough to move around the house and go for a walk. It was great!
Also, the colors and patterns are just too cute! As a matter of fact, when I was walking Rooney down the street, someone shouted out to me, “Wow, what a cute fleece on your dog!”. I think Rooney was flattered 🙂
So what do you think? Does your dog need this fleece for the fall or winter?
