While working in San Francisco, I conducted mini-interviews with all the little furry friends I meet walking through the city. Since I no longer work in SF, I try to introduce myself to other dogs I run into around the Bay Area. The result is a list of furry friends!
Breed: Micro/Tea-cup Yorkshire Terrier
Age: 5 months
Location: East Bay
Favorite Activity: Cuddling
Surprising Talent: Despite his small size, Dexter is very good at fetch (with a tiny tennis ball of course).
Breed: Husky/Lab/ German Shepherd Mix
Age: 6 months old
Adoption: Zeke was pulled out of a high-kill shelter in the Los Angeles area by the Contra Costa County Humane Society, where his new family found him and couldn’t believe their luck!
Favorite Activity: Chasing bugs and birds. His dad, Nick informed me that Zeke will literally stop eating meals to chase bugs. Now that’s dedication to your hobby!
Fun Fact: Zeke goes to work everyday with his dad while he is adjusting to his new home. He also has two pet siblings; a boxer and a basset hound.
Breed: French Bulldog
Age: 5 years old
Location: San Francisco
Favorite Activity: Sleeping
Fun Fact: “She is a queen” her dad says. She used to be a show dog, but the breeder had to suddenly spay her due to complications, and consequently had to stop showing miss Envy. Shortly after that, she was adopted by her parents and now gets to take lots of naps!
