My name is Rachel Marie Sheppard, I am the author and founder of My Kid Has Paws. My husband and I have been blessed with a Corgi named Rooney and we all live, run, and play in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a former Veterinary Technician/Animal Science Major turned MBA/Marketing Associate. I started this blog because I love animals, and I want to use my background in Animal Science to provide great information all while documenting fun with Rooney!

January 30, 2014 at 11:50 amHi Rachael. I love your blog and story, keep up the good work! I actually interviewed with your father at his business this morning and he sent this blog link along. We have some things in common… love for animals and marketing. 6 months ago I left hi-tech marketing corporate America to do something I’ve always wanted to do – work with animals. Alas CritterPetCare.com was born in Oakland, CA. I still love Marketing, website promotion and Internet Marketing and hope to be able to combine the 2 very different markets. I’m very interested in the TVR position and think I could make a big difference, as well as continue my pet sitting on the side. It would be the best of both my worlds.
I’ll keep an eye on your blog and wish you all the best. Any comments are welcome with regard to my website and business as well.
All the best fellow pet lover,
Pam from CritterPetCare.com
